Emu Technology Closes $5 Million

Enterprise IT startup Emu Technology completed $5 million in Series A financing. Three investors participated in the round: Samsung Ventures, Blu Venture Investors, and Irish Angels.

According to the company, for the past five years Emu Technology has been developing an Exascale-capable computing architecture, featuring proprietary, enhanced memory server technology to enable the analysis of complex, arbitrarily large data relationships, with the ability to support real-time updates.

Emu will use this funding to accelerate availability and tuning of critical software through investment of its own resources, and to make Emu systems available to algorithm, middleware, and application developers.
