Curriculum Associates Acquires Motion Math

Curriculum Associates has purchased Motion Math® for an undisclosed sum. As a result of this partnership, Motion Math’s games will be available as a supplement to Curriculum Associates’ i-Ready® program, which is currently used by students and educators nationwide.

Founded by Gabriel Adauto and Jacob Klein while they were students at the Stanford Graduate School of Education, Motion Math engages students with more than 500 levels of adaptive, game-based content in the areas of fractions, addition, subtraction, number line, division, multiplication, proportions, estimation, and measurement that can be accessed on computers or iOS devices, both in the classroom and at home. Motion Math additionally includes a dashboard that allows teachers to track student usage, skill progression, and factors of learning such as confidence.
