Carpooling App LESS Brings In $19 Million

LESS, a carpooling app that facilitates instant matches between drivers and riders, announced it secured $19 million in financing from Index Ventures and Daphni.

The company connects people driving cars with people willing to move around in a collaborative environment “on the fly.” According to LESS, this transportation method is less expensive for riders, generates less pollution, requires fewer cars for the same amount of rides, and generates more income for the drivers.
