Broker Genius Closes $15 Million

Financial technology startup Broker Genius announced it raised $15 million in Series A financing from Volition Capital.

The company’s pricing automation technology platform enables live event ticket resellers to use real-time market data to adjust ticket prices. For example, when pricing a baseball game, the company’s software augments market-related information with such qualitative factors as opposing team, starting pitchers, weather, and standings. The company currently has more than 100 employees with corporate offices in Valley Stream, New York, Reno, Nevada, and Barcelona, Spain.
