Beringer Capital Acquires Full-Service Digital Commerce Provider

Beringer Capital, a private equity firm investing in technology products and services for brands, announced the purchase of full-service digital commerce provider, BrandShop.

This partnership will provide BrandShop with the capital needed to continue scaling its direct-to-consumer digital commerce services. The acquisition of BrandShop is the fourth of Beringer Capital’s third fund. Earlier this year, Beringer acquired digital commerce service provider Blue Acorn.

“The vast majority of ecommerce solutions in the market today are designed to serve retailers, but we see a significant need to assist and serve consumer brands by helping them unlock the power of the data and corresponding analytics that come from enabling direct commerce,” said Brian F. Martin, vice chairman of Beringer Capital. “We are excited to partner with BrandShop and to provide them with the resources they need to expand upon their success and explore broader, deeper capabilities.”
