ViTel Net Appoints Dr. Richard Bakalar as VP and Chief of Strategy

ViTel Net, a leading telehealth and medical imaging cloud-based software vendor, today announced the appointment of Dr. Richard Bakalar as vice president and chief strategy officer.

Before joining ViTel Net, Dr. Bakalar was a managing director in KPMG’s global healthcare center of excellence. He also worked as a physician executive with Microsoft’s Health Solutions Group, where he helped create and deliver innovative software solutions. Prior to that, he served as IBM’s chief medical officer and as a medical imaging and telemedicine specialist. Dr. Bakalar has also served as president of the American Telemedicine Association.
