Virtual Reality Startup Visual Vocal Secures $3.6 Million
Visual Vocal announced it has secured $3.6 million in seed financing led by Eniac Ventures, with participation from Scout Ventures, Spider Capital, and Alliance of Angels.
Visual Vocal develops and offers a cloud-based platform that converts 3D models of architectural designs into virtual reality using a smartphone as a computer and screen. Users simply import rendered 3D panoramas or capture real-world imagery to the secure web portal, and Visual Vocal organizes the panoramic images into cohesive design stories called V|Vs. Users can create interactive VR tours of their design projects by recording their voice and gaze, as well as notify participants and stakeholders that new V|Vs are ready to experience.
The funds will allow Visual Vocal to scale enterprise sales and continue to focus on building a transformative product.
