STATS, a global leader in sports data and intelligence, announced it has named Casey Wasserman as its newest board director.
Wasserman is the chairman and chief executive officer of Wasserman, a leading sports, entertainment, and lifestyle marketing and management agency that represents brands, properties, and talent on a global basis. He is also the Chairman of the LA 2028 Olympics, a position held since 2014 when Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti appointed Wasserman to head the city’s now successful Olympic host efforts.
Wasserman also serves as president and chief executive officer of the Wasserman Foundation, which funds education, arts and culture, service, and global initiatives. Wasserman also serves on the board of directors at Activision and the digital media company, Vox Media.
“Casey is one of the most admired and respected executives across sports, entertainment, marketing, and media, and he and the Wasserman team will serve as exceptional counsel for STATS,” said Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Fuchs. “We share a common drive to find new ways for fans to get closer to the game, to help athletes and teams excel, and to support brands in telling their stories through sports.”
