SPA Names Rear Admiral Brad Williamson as Director of Strategic Initiatives
Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., (SPA), a professional services company with clients throughout the departments of defense and homeland security, has named Rear Admiral (USN, Ret.) Brad Williamson as director of strategic initiatives. In his new role, Williamson will focus his efforts on growing SPA’s client base and expanding its opportunities.
Prior to joining SPA, Williamson was the founder and CEO of MVSEA, a consulting firm he established to assist small businesses in developing sound strategic plans. His last position on active duty was as commandant of the Joint Forces Staff College in Norfolk, VA. In this position, he led the Department of Defense’s graduate level school, responsible for providing government strategic and operational planning education to senior officers and civilians via in-class, satellite programs, and hybrid teaching methodologies.
“Rear Admiral Williamson’s leadership, as well as his understanding of the Department of Defense’s acquisition process, will provide tremendous benefits to SPA as we continue to grow our company,” said Dr. William Vantine, SPA’s President and CEO. “We are fortunate to welcome Rear Admiral Williamson to our management team.”
