ServiceNow Acquires SkyGiraffe for Undisclosed Sum
Cloud computing company ServiceNow announced that it has acquired enterprise mobility platform SkyGiraffe. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
ServiceNow expects SkyGiraffe technology to be embedded in the Now Platform in 2018, offering all packaged applications in a native mobile format, including its flagship IT Service Management (ITSM) product.
Founded in 2012, SkyGiraffe mobilizes back-end data to enable enterprise employees to manage business processes natively on iOS, Android, and the web. With its secure, code-free platform, SkyGiraffe extends enterprise data directly to mobile devices, and provides customized, job-specific “micro-moments” that can read and write-back real-time data to existing back-end systems.
The startup had previously raised $10.5 million from investors including SGVC, Trilogy Equity Partners, Microsoft Ventures, and 500 Startups.
