Security Company Skybox Security Closes $150 Million

Skybox Security has acquired $150 million in financing from CVC Capital Partners and Pantheon.

Skybox Security arms security leaders with a set of solutions for cybersecurity management. By integrating with more than 120 networking and security technologies, the Skybox™ Security Suite combines attack vector analytics and advanced threat intelligence to continuously analyze vulnerabilities in physical, virtual, and cloud environments and correlate them with exploits in the wild, providing the insight needed to improve and automate security operations in vulnerability and threat management as well as firewall and security policy management.

The funding round will go toward accelerating investment in sales and marketing, customer care, and research and development. It will also be used for potential mergers and acquisitions.
