Seasoned Raises $20 Million

Internet startup Seasoned announced the completion of $20 million in Series A financing led by TPG Capital.

Seasoned is a food service community designed to connect workers with jobs, talent and career development opportunities.  Its goal is to improve the lives and livelihoods of those who work hard serving others, from cooks and dishwashers to servers and hosts. In tandem with the funding announcement, the company revealed that former Lynda.com executives Andrew Wait and Madhav Mehra will join the company as executive chairman and president, respectively.

According to the company, proceeds from the funding will be used to build out a state-of-the-art professional networking platform for food service workers.
