Real Estate Startup Appear Here Closes Seed Funding

Appear Here completed a new round of seed financing from Fifth Wall Ventures.

Appear Here is an online marketplace for businesses looking for short-term retail space. According to the company, its clientele range from start-ups, including Spotify, Lyst and Away, to global brands such as Google, Apple, Supreme, and Net-a-porter.

In the last 12 months, Appear Here launched more than 4,000 stores in the city of London alone. Spaces listed on it include prime retail, high street shops, underground stations, unique venues, major shopping malls and historic buildings.

The company said that proceeds will be used for its U.S. expansion initiatives.
