Perfect Corp. Brings In $25 Million

Software startup Perfect Corp. announced it has secured $25 million in Series A financing led by China Creation Ventures, with participation from Yuanta Asia Investment, Extol Capital, and CyberLink.

Perfect Corp. — recently voted Best Fashion and Apparels App of 2015 —  is the award-winning creator of YouCam Makeup makeover studio, YouCam Perfect selfie cam, YouCam Fun animated selfie filters, YouCam Nails manicure salon, and YouCam Makeup, a virtual makeup app harnessing the most accurate facial mapping technology to help users experiment with different cosmetics products in real time. Perfect Corp. has received more than 500 million downloads on its suite of beauty apps.

The financing will be used to continue the development of Perfect Corp.’s popular mobile app suite that uses augmented reality and artificial intelligence to transform how consumers enjoy and interact with beauty products.
