Peraton Names Laurie Foglesong Chief Human Resources Officer

Peraton CEO Stu Shea has promoted Laurie Foglesong to the position of chief human resources officer.

Foglesong has more than 20 years of experience in human resources, most recently serving as HR director for Harris Corporation. She was an integral leader in the transition of its legacy government IT services business. Previously, Foglesong led HR for other government contracting and tech-centric companies, including Engineering Management & Integration, Ariel Research Corporation, and Advanced Switching Communication.

“I can think of no better person to lead Peraton’s human resources strategy – including such critical needs as talent acquisition, talent development, and employee engagement – than Laurie,” said Shea. “She knows our business and understands our people.”

Foglesong holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Virginia Tech, and an MBA in HR management from George Washington University.
