New Product Alert: Ping

Ping is a social network app that plans to keep people safe by alerting users of danger and navigating the way to the nearest safe place. Its features include alerts about nearby emergencies and dangers, finding locations of friends and family, and a “Trusted Contact” feature where users tag their most important people to hear from and send alerts to. Ping also includes automatic check-ins at destinations that inform their trusted contacts of their safe arrival, as well as in-app direct messaging.

Ping was the brainchild of CEO and Founder Drazen Zigic.
