Nanotechnology Startup Artoss Brings In New Funding

Artoss closed a new round of funding from angelMD.

The company’s scientists apply their knowledge of physics and biology to create new nanostructured biomaterials for bone repair. Artoss currently distributes NanoBone® advanced bone graft products in the United States, while NanoBone Granules and NanoBone SBX Putty have been used successfully in 400,000 cases over the past ten years in Europe and the U.S.

Artoss intends to use the funding to develop and introduce multiple proprietary forms of NanoBone to address specific clinical needs, including its use as an implant coating to improve osteointegration of joint replacements and spinal fusion implants.
