Latitude Geographics Secures New Funding

Software startup Latitude Geographics announced the completion of a new financing round from Battery Ventures.

Latitude Geographics’ Geocortex mapping software, which is used by more than 1,400 organizations around the world, aims to help customers operate more efficiently, communicate more effectively, and improve decision making. Government users are able to deliver maps that engage citizens, manage service activities, report on demographic information, and help perform assessments. For energy companies, Geocortex provides mapping applications that help them manage exploration activities, pipeline networks, and production cycles.
