Jio has acquired $1.5 million in financing from an undisclosed investor, according to a recent SEC filing.
The company claims its Jiobit is “the world’s smallest and longest-lasting tracking solution.” With a smart tag and smartphone app, parents can find their kids indoors or outdoors in more than 120 countries, even in multi-level buildings. With up to two months of battery life, the cell’s mobile app (run through a wireless subscription service) offers a comprehensive set of monitoring and notification features.
