Former U.S. Army Chief of Staff General George W. Casey Joins Sarcos Robotics Advisory Board
Sarcos® Robotics today announced that retired United States Army General George William Casey, Jr. has joined its advisory board.
“It is an honor to have General Casey join the Sarcos advisory board,” said Ben Wolff, chairman and chief executive officer of Sarcos. “His years of service in the U.S. Army, from his role as chief of staff to his command of forces in on-the-ground operations in Iraq, will be a great benefit to Sarcos – especially in informing our efforts to commercialize robotic technologies that are applicable for military use.”
Casey served as chief of staff of the U.S. Army from April, 2007 to April, 2011. He was commander of the multinational force in Iraq from July, 2004 to February, 2007. During his distinguished career in the army, Casey served in operational assignments in the U.S., Germany, Italy, Egypt, the Balkans, and Iraq. He holds a master’s degree in international relations from Denver University and has served as a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council of the United States.
