Forensic Logic Secures $20 Million

Technology startup Forensic Logic completed $20 million in financing from Mainsail Partners.

Forensic Logic’s LEAP Network is a search engine and information network that ties together America’s law enforcement agencies by providing an array of search and analysis features for an agency’s existing IT infrastructure while linking agencies together in a CJIS-compliant cloud. Information in the LEAP Network includes court data, ShotSpotter gunshot locations, mugshots, probation and parole information, stop data, traffic citations, tip lines, warrants, daily bulletins, CrimeDex alerts and BOLO’s, and NCMEC missing person data.

According to the company, Forensic Logic will use the new capital to continue its innovation in search technology and expand its network of law enforcement customers.
