Flight Hour Gifting Platform Skyhour Closes New Funding

Skyhour announced it has secured a new round of financing from JetBlue Technology Ventures.

Skyhour is a platform that allows users to give and receive flight hours that can be used by anyone, anywhere, across 350 airlines. Users select their destination, number of passengers, and travel dates, and choose a flight from the search results. If they don’t have enough Skyhours, they can purchase the difference. One “skyhour” represents one hour in flight, and costs $60.

In addition, to the financial investment, JetBlue Technology Ventures brings deep domain expertise in the hospitality, travel, and airline ecosystem to Skyhour.

The financing will accelerate the company’s global growth and presence in the market leading into the busiest travel season of the year.
