Allume completed $3 million in financing from True Ventures.

Allume provides on-demand personal clothing and accessory shopping services to busy clients. Users start by taking a style quiz and being matched with a real personal shopper, who will scour through the entire Internet for clothes that fit the user’s style, body shape and budget. The client then receives a virtual Lookbook with three full looks, containing 12 to 15 clothing and accessory items. The user chooses what to buy and receives their new clothes shipped directly from various brands and retailers.

In its announcement, the company said it intends to use the funds to launch and continue to develop its service.
