MakuSafe announced it has raised $1.3 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.
MakuSafe makes wearable technology to help identify, predict, and prevent risk in workplace environments using IoT sensors and SaaS, primarily for the labor-worker industries like manufacturing, agriculture, and construction.
The company’s wearable communications device can capture everything from near-miss activity to quality assurance and LEAN reports. The armband is equipped with sensors to track environmental conditions around employees while they work and send data back the the MākuSmart platform. Safety and operational personnel can view the cloud dashboard to see the employee-generated and auto-generated reports relating to environment, safety, and productivity.
