Enterprise IT Startup Coda Secures $60 Million

Coda announced the completion of $60 million in financing. Greylock Partners, General Catalyst Partners, Khosla Ventures, New Enterprise Associates and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers participated in the funding.

Coda blends the flexibility of documents, the power of spreadsheets, and the utility of applications into a single new canvas. The founding Coda team crossed paths at Google, YouTube, and Microsoft, and, in 2014, they banded together to “build the doc they always wanted” – one that allows users to work together, in their own way, off the same data.

While it remains in beta, Coda plans to build out its gallery of examples and other help features.
