EdTech Startup Blue Canoe Learning Brings In $1.4 Million

Blue Canoe Learning announced the completion of $1.4 million in financing from Kernel Capital.

Blue Canoe Learning has created mobile games based on established curriculum and machine learning to help non-native English speakers improve their pronunciation and English communications skills. Users simply speak into the mobile game for 10 minutes, and then get meaningful feedback based on Blue Canoe’s Color Vowel® System.

Blue Canoe Learning plans to launch its pilot program later this year, allowing corporate customers to provide the app to their non-native speaking employees.
