Deserve Closes $12 Million

Fintech startup Deserve announced the completion of $12 million in financing led by Accel Partners, with participation from Aspect Ventures and Mission Holdings.

Deserve is a next gen fintech company that plans to help millennials and Gen Zs gain access to fair credit products through machine learning. Instead of relying on credit history, Deserve measures applicants’ credit potential by looking at factors such as education, current financial health, future employability, and earnings potential. The company’s compliance framework uses enhanced identity verification and consistent lending practices to ensure security and safety.

Deserve plans to use the funding to build out its new credit card business.
