BridgeU Secures $5.3 Million

Education technology startup BridgeU announced the completion of $5.3 million in Series A financing led by Octopus Ventures, with participation from Fresco Capital and Downing Ventures.

BridgeU empowers schools to provide more intelligent, data-driven university and career guidance. Teachers can discover the best higher education opportunities for each student using BridgeU’s matching algorithms, which process more than a million data points each day to ensure accuracy and relevance. The BridgeU dashboard also helps school advisors and senior leaders assign tasks, set reminders and deadlines, and track progress. The company currently works with secondary schools in 40 countries.

The new funding will cover new hires and product development.
