TmaxSoft, a global software innovator for cloud, infrastructure, and legacy modernization, named John Yun as its global CTO earlier this month. In his new position, Yun will guide TmaxSoft’s global technology agenda and help accelerate the company’s global growth.

“We are excited that John will be adding his expertise, earned through a long history of technology and business development, to ours,” said Dr. Daeyeon Park, founder of TmaxSoft. “His experience will undoubtedly lend itself to the unique challenges of helping organizations across the globe modernize their data structures.”

Yun joins TmaxSoft from LG Electronics, where he served as vice president of B2B business development. His career includes positions with many other notable tech companies, including Accenture, Oracle and PeopleSoft, during which time he acquired a broad range of technical competencies ranging from virtual reality to cloud services.

Yun earned his bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics with computer science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s in business administration and project management from Boston University.
