ThinkCERCA Secures $10.1 Million

Edtech startup ThinkCERCA announced it has raised $10.1 million in Series B financing.

ThinkCERCA’s personalized literacy platform helps educators teach critical thinking skills through argumentative writing. The platform provides standards-aligned close reading and academic writing lessons for language arts, science, social studies, and math. ThinkCERCA’s school-wide approach to literacy instruction aims to prepare students in grades 4 through 12 for post-secondary life by building up their analytical skills in every subject.

In its announcement, the company said it will use the funds to enhance its academic writing tools and launch new lessons to prepare students for the 21st century.
