Synup announced it has secured $6 million in Series A financing, led by Vertex Venture Capital. Prime Ventures also participated.

Synup offers a set of tools to help make life easier for local marketing consultants, agencies and brands that want to advertise locally. According to the company, more than 50,000 merchants use the Synup application to manage their digital assets, keep their business information in sync, monitor customer feedback, and improve their online presence. The company’s technology analyzes millions of interactions and data points weekly to provide insights and easy-to-follow recommendations to businesses on how they can improve performance.

According to the company, in addition to expanding into new markets, Synup also plans to use its funding to launch new features, including more detailed analytics and new tools for its white-label program.
