Shiftgig Appoints LinkedIn Executive Wade Burgess As New CEO

Shiftgig, the mobile technology platform that connects businesses with high-quality, vetted hourly workers, today announced that Wade Burgess will join the company as chief executive officer.

In his new role, Burgess will be tasked with aligning Shiftgig’s product and technology roadmap, support process, and operating practices to the needs of the enterprise today and beyond.

Burgess’ experience spans nearly a decade at LinkedIn. He played a pivotal role in growing LinkedIn’s sales organizations, both in the U.S. and within Europe, before becoming the global VP of talent solutions, the company’s largest business unit. Burgess was also chairman of the inaugural board of the LinkedIn for Good Foundation.
