Enterprise IT startup Realm closed new funding from Ericsson Venture Partners, Khosla Ventures, and Scale Venture Partners.

Realm is a mobile database that enables its users to develop applications faster for phones, tablets and wearables. A replacement for SQLite and Core Data, Realm is able to save users thousands of lines of code and weeks of work, and, according to the company, it lets them craft amazing new user experiences. The company’s clients include Twitter, Starbucks, Alibaba, Budweiser, SAP, Rite Aid, Amazon, eBay, Google, GoPro, Walmart, Adidas, Cisco, NBCUniversal, Nike, and the NFL.
