OneSpot Appoints David Brown as Chief Strategy Officer
Cross-channel content marketing platform OneSpot today announced the appointment of David Brown as chief strategy officer. In his new position, Brown will lead the company’s new strategic services business and head its recently opened New York City office.
“David is well-known as an early innovator and trailblazer in content marketing, bringing to OneSpot a wealth of experience working with Fortune 500 brands,” said OneSpot CEO Steve Sachs. “Through a holistic technology and services approach — and with David’s leadership — OneSpot will continue to help marketers secure a measurable return on personalization (ROP) through deeper content engagement.”
Prior to joining OneSpot, Brown was most recently head of The Content Catalysts. Before that, he served as executive vice president at Meredith Xcelerated Marketing, dubbed “the inventor of content marketing” by Harvard’s Nieman Lab. Before MXM, Brown was CEO of Highway One and a managing director at OgilvyOne. He holds a B.A. in politics from Durham University.
