New Product Alert: Ohi

Ohi is an iPhone messaging app that provides social video dating. It provides authentic video profiles and secure, live video chats to help singles break the ice. In a way, it allows users to have a first date — before a first date. The makers are also working on a “Friend Matchmaking” feature that will allow daters to invite their friends to become Ohi daters, as well as to ask their non-dating friends to become matchmakers for them.

Ohi was created by developer Parker Wightman, cofounder Craig Hobson, and cofounder Jared Fitch.
