Nightly is an iPhone messaging product for users’ dating, social, and evening lives. The app, so far only available in NYC, allows users to chat with people located in the same bar or at the same event, based on location proximity technology. Nightly shows where users’ friends and matches are going out for the night, so interested people can make plans to meet their crushes in real life. Taking a page from Snapchat, Nightly automatically wipes out all connections and messages in 24 hours.
Nightly was the brainchild of founder Michael MacLean, designer Jonah Stuart, and Julien Bankier.
