New Product Alert: Loftium

Loftium is a new fintech product that provides down payments of up to $50,000 to homebuyers willing to shares revenue from Airbnb rentals in their new homes for 12 to 36 months. Participants agree to list a bedroom on Airbnb for all but eight “freebie” days a year and to split the profits with Loftium, with the startup taking about a two-thirds cut. If the room does not get occupied, Loftium covers the revenue shortfall.
