Instashot is a productivity product that helps people instantly access text from any image. It is capable of recognizing 99 percent of text from photos in five different languages: English, French, Mandarin, Spanish, and German. Instashot also “understands” information within the text, such as phone numbers, addresses, dates, and hyperlinks. Use cases of Instashot include making a call from a photo of a card; navigating to a destination from a screenshot sent by a friend; copying and sharing quotes from books; and searching for lyrics from a screenshot of Spotify.
