New Product Alert: Hinge Matchmaker

Hinge is an iPhone dating app that sets up friends in a way that aims to be fun and avoid being awkward. It connects to a user’s Facebook account to show which of his/her friends are using Hinge; the app then has the user act as a matchmaker by introducing his or her single friends to one another.

“With the release of our new app today, we hope we can pave the way for a new normal in dating culture that treats people with dignity and helps those seeking relationships find what they’re really looking for,” said Hinge CEO Justin McLeod.
