New Product Alert: Cymbal Universal Translator for Chrome

Cymbal is a Chrome extension app that listens to any song from users’ streaming subscriptions.

Cymbal is a Chrome extension app that listens to any song from users’ streaming subscriptions. The goal is to make streaming services work like cellular providers. Users can freely call a T-Mobile user from a Verizon phone, but right now it is not possible to send a song from, say a Deezer user to an Apple Music user.

The Cymbal Chrome extension transforms any Spotify, Apple Music, or Deezer player into Cymbal’s Universal Player, which allows users to share any song or album on the streaming services they subscribe to. The product replaces streaming embeds on any page with the Universal Player. Users never have to run into songs they can’t listen to, in full and monetized, on the streaming services they already pay for.

Cymbal Universal Translator for Chrome was developed by CEO Charlie Kaplan, cofounder Gabe Jacobs, and cofounder Mario Hall.
