New Product Alert: She Codes

She Codes is a nonprofit coding workshop for women that teaches basic coding, design and management skills to 10 women per cycle. The first 12-hour workshop took place in Lisbon, Portugal, and featured four lessons in coding basics, UI development, web development, and product management. The program does not charge membership fees, but it does ask for a donation of 20 euros to cover logistical costs such as transport, hosting, and domain names. She Codes is actively looking for teachers to help expand the organization in other cities around the world.
