New Game Alert: Sculpto

Sculpto is a compact desktop 3D printer and app-based software that plans to make 3D printing more accessible than ever before. With a printing volume of five liters, users can print objects up to the size of a football and choose between “fine,” “normal,” and “fast” settings to adjust printing time and resolution. Sculpto prints using a plastic filament called PLA, which is made of corn and is biodegradable.

Sculpto 3D is currently running a Kickstarter campaign; early bird pricing for the printer is $383.
