Nanoport Raises $7 Million

Mobile startup Nanoport announced the completion of $7 million in seed financing. Horizons Ventures led the round, with participation from Brightspark and Kensington Capital Partners.

Nanoport Technology, Inc., is a research and development lab for mobile technologies. The company specializes in the development of advanced solutions for connectivity, haptics, multi-device applications and human-device interfaces. It creates and patents solutions, standards, and calibrations using nanotechnology as the foundation.  

The company revealed that this early stage funding will go toward expanding Nanoport’s research facilities and accelerate commercial development. The company is doubling the size of its lab and opening up an additional lab this week.
