MongoDB Names Dan Heasman Chief People Officer
MongoDB, Inc., a leading modern, general purpose database platform, today announced the appointment of Dan Heasman to the role of chief people officer.
As chief people officer, Heasman will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of MongoDB’s talent management program and policies. He will be in charge of ensuring that MongoDB’s culture seamlessly scales as the company grows, continues to attract the best people in the software industry and develops the next set of leaders to drive future growth.
Heasman joins MongoDB with more than 20 years of culture and HR leadership, working with some of the largest companies in the world, including Coca Cola, Illumina and Pfizer. Before joining MongoDB, he spent four years with The Rise Group and more than eight years at ?What If! — The Innovation Company, a global consulting firm, where he specialized in advising market-leading companies on how best to sustain and grow innovative cultures as their organizations transformed in size.
