Mobee Merges with Quad Analytix, Creating New Entity Called Wiser Solutions

Mobee, a Boston-based real-time store intelligence platform, announced this week it has merged with Quad Analytix, an ecommerce data analytics company based in San Mateo. The combined new entity will be known as Wiser Solutions.

According to Bostinno, the merger deal combines Mobee’s crowdsourcing abilities to gather information on brands in brick-and-mortar stores with Quad’s ability to track pricing and other information for brands across hundreds of ecommerce websites.

On its website, Wiser Solutions says the company drives data-driven decisions to power merchandising, pricing, branding, and promotional strategies for some of the world’s most innovative retailers and brands. The Wiser platform collects and analyzes online and in-store data to provide insights that drive business value.

Mobee, founded in 2012, had previously raised $6.1 million from Flint Capital, Accomplice, InterWest Partners, and a dozen individual investors.
