Meal Delivery Startup Foodee Brings In $10 Million

Foodee announced it has secured $10 million in Series A financing. BDC Venture Capital led the round, with participation from Kensington Capital Partners, Yaletown Venture Partners, Structure Capital and Voyager Capital.

Foodee is a corporate meal delivery service that makes it easy for companies to order from top local restaurants for meetings and work events. Foodee provides a large variety of carefully curated menus through its online ordering platform, and it offers local restaurants a streamlined online ordering system and a live concierge team that assists in meeting catering budgets and dietary restrictions.

In its announcement, the company said Foodee will use these funds for additional development of its ordering platform, as well as continued expansion.
