Hewlett Packard Enterprise Acquires Cloud Technology Partners

Hewlett Packard Enterprise today announced its intent to acquire Cloud Technology Partners. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Cloud Technology Partners, which was founded in 2009, helps companies plan, design and build cloud solutions for applications and infrastructure that reduce IT costs, streamline operations and accelerate time to market. With a cloud-focused service portfolio and targeted methodologies and tools, Cloud Technology Partners plans to enable the world’s leading businesses and institutions to innovate through cloud computing.

The company had previously raised $34 million from investors, including State Street Bank, Greylock Partners and select angels.

According to HPE’s announcement, the acquisition is aimed at strengthening its cloud consulting expertise.
