Electronics Startup FuelRod Secures New Funding

FuelRod announced the close of a new round of financing from Decathlon Capital Partners.

FuelRod provides portable and reusable charging systems that allow users to charge Android and Apple mobile devices, and also to trade their charging systems for fresh ones at standard wall outlets, as well as at SwapBox outlets. The company was founded in 2010 and is based in San Diego, CA.

In its announcement, the company said FuelRod intends to use the funds to expand its capacity, build inventory and continue executing on its business plan to increase kiosk availability worldwide.
