Edtech Startup Guild Education Brings In $21 Million

Guild Education announced the close of $21 million in Series B financing. The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Redpoint Ventures, Harrison Metal Capital, and Cowboy Ventures.

Guild Education’s lifelong learning platform offers classes, programs, and degrees for working adults, with the goal of helping them move forward in their educations and careers. Employers use Guild Education’s benefits platform to transform traditional tuition assistance programs from cost centers into recruitment and retention tools that drive positive return on investment. Employees use Guild Education to access a network of nonprofit universities, with the support of Guild coaches who help each employee find the right program and succeed in school and work.
