Dreamscape Immersive Raises .7 Million

According to a recent SEC filing, VR startup Dreamscape Immersive has raised $6.7 million in financing from an undisclosed investor.

Dreamscape Immersive uses VR technology to create a new form of mainstream location-based entertainment. The startup emerged out of stealth Monday, and little is known about it apart from its impressive list of executives. These include CEO Kevin Rice, who previously spent 15 years at Walt Disney Imagineering, the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production, project management, and research and development arm of The Walt Disney Company and its affiliates.
